A little bit of Sunday sketching today on my Sir Russell Flint inspired nude figure. This value sketch will eventually become my acrylic underpainting for a planned oil. The image is a photocopy of my original pencil sketch shaded with a mechanical HB pencil. I do this as part of my process understanding tone, values, connected shapes etc. and making any changes.
