A lovely delicate scene in your sketch book John.

This is so beautiful. I love your style very much. Someone told me that Yews are often found near churches because they are poisonous and couldn’t harm livestock if in a fenced churchyard. You really inspire me.

Thank you Heather, Chris, Carole and Pat. I think yew trees also keep witches or evil spirits (or something) away too Pat!

A quick sketch of a country churchyard, painted during my stewarding duty at our art exhibition in the church, took about an hour. It's watercolour with some brown penwork in an A5 Pink Pig sketchbook.
