Reproduction of Bellrock Lighthouse

I'm not really a Turner fan Anne, but I like this very much and would venture to say that this is much better - sorry Turner fans. But of course that is only my opinion.

Thanks for your nice comment Adele. I hope to try more Turner. I am also in the middle of a Van Gogh. I reckoned, and it has been said by others, that it is a good way to learn painting by trying to copy the old masters to find out their techniques.

I love the brushstroke in this, lovely wave marks and it is certainly energetic Anne.

Adele said it before me, I'm not a Turner fan ( no disrespect to one of the worlds greatest artists, just not to my taste), this is fabulous, really eye-catching, stands out in this gallery , which is quite an achievement with the excellent standard of work on display here!

Wow, thank you for your kind words everyone. There definately is a lot of beautiful and fine work on here. I am blown away by what folk achieve every time i visit.
