I think both studies are wonderful Ann, it isn't easy on vellum (I've read). I would love to try vellum but not sure how or where to get it?

Thank you for your comments Carole I had my vellum from William Cowley, it is expensive. I think I may have paid about £7 for my small piece. Have a look on here www.williamcowley.co.uk

Small water colour on Vellum, 15x10cm. I wanted to try Vellum and liked the colours of this Geranium. I could not get a good finish on the leaf and was not sure were i was going wrong so any advice would be welcome.
