The only word to describe me at the moment would be "gooey"; I've gone all soft and sentimental...I've known a lot of boxers: great, big, soft, affectionate lumps: just how I like 'em. A very characteristic drawing/painting, this is just how they are. There are few things worse, however, than a painting that's supposed to be affectionate and yet betrays appalling draughtsmanship (I expect I've mis-spelled that!) - no danger of that with you, because you've really looked at the animal: the surest proof of genuine admiration.
