I love this, especially how you have caught the reflection in the eye. Bet your friend is very pleased with the outcome.

Thank you all for your kind comments. The photograph really captured my imagination - which is why I asked my friend if I could use it. I really enjoyed doing it.

A friend in Canada posted on the internet a photograph she had taken of her horse`s eye. It fascinated me and I obtained her permission to download and paint it. I used coloured pencils - I have now sent the original to her where it is framed and hanging on her wall.
