You have caught those wild, emotional brushstrokes so well here Anne.

I've seen many attempts to copy this painting, most of which have been pretty unimpressive - but you've got the van Gogh 'tache'- the shape of his brush-strokes, particularly in the cypress tree, and the incidental foreground touches and broken colour.

A cracking Vincent Anne.

You have certainly caught the look of Van Gogh Anne.

This is another of Vincent’s that I love and decided to paint for myself and it will hang next to the Iris's I painted earlier. I know it’s a copy but it reminded me of my walks up the fields when they were full of wheat ...no cypress trees but plenty of wonderful skies.
