Thatched cottage with hens

I think this is a lovely drawing and a super composition. I am a little troubled by the acidity of the yellow you have used as it tends to dominate the painting and detract from the detail. Perhaps a toned down shade would work better?

Actually Thea, you are right, The original had softer yellows, but for the electronic printing, I harshened up the yellow. Thank you for your welcome comments. I really enjoy drawing and painting houses and will soon put up more on this site. Regards, Anne.
