Quiet winter by Ann Cook

Simple ( by that I don't mean easy:) ) and very effective. A real feeling of the cold and, yes, I like the colours too.

Just lovely, Ann. Great recession, and a freezing atmosphere! (Ten minutes!! It takes me longer than that to decide which way up the canvas should go).

A good ten minute daub Ann!! full of atmosphere, I can feel the chill.

NOT a daub. This is wonderful. When it goes right it goes right but oh when it doesn't.... This is right.

Nice daub as you put it. It's got a really cold look about it. I would have added a bit of warmth maybe in the sky and reflecting in the water but that's just my opinion for what it's worth.

Thanks for that, Robert, I really wanted it to be cold, so only added signature bit of purple in bushes!
