A friend and I used to keep rats, when we shared accommodation - we had generations of 'em. From the great Ralph (see my New Start blog!) to little Reg, the first rat I ever heard break wind.... no one who hasn't kept them is likely to understand their appeal: and they do form these circles, as they huddle up together..... Splendid critters.

They look so cute and cuddly, well painted.
