Annabel, I've just discovered your watercolor and pen landscapes and love them. I have just started classes in watercolors. What's your sequence for paintings like 'Sea View (my favorite), Pencil first, Ink second, watercolor last? -- Thanks in advance for responding!! -- mike

Hi Mike Glad you found me and I am delighted you have started with watercolour. In answer to your question, it all depends what I am painting! With this one I just drew direct onto the paper with a fine waterproof pen ( I use unipin fine line pen) and then paint washes over the drawing. I sometimes paint without drawing in pen and sometimes I will draw a rough sketch in pencil and then add the paint. Hope this helps!
