Started dabbling today with watercolour and started drawing trees with bracken twigs laid on the earth. The trees are bare and so added a blackbird with a twig in its beak. I painted with Filbert brush as it is flexible especially when absorbing dark pigment. Watercolour wash sometimes reveals speckles (don't know why this occurs but it could be because I lifted the pigment?)
