Painted from a photo and applied watercolour pencil for Millie, my sister-in-laws dog! I did meet Millie when visiting Scotland a few years ago and she was so sweet as she nuzzled at my feet and dogs seem to show the same affection even when they first meet a stranger. After many years of living abroad I reunited with my relatives and dear Millie! When I returned my sister-in-law asked me to paint her portrait so from a photo I dabbled a recollection of Millie!
