''A Cry to the Hills"

Thought provoking!

They need our help at the moment. Good one Angela.

Thankyou Heather and Michael. I wanted to write a children's story about Zululand when we arrived to Australia and the illustrations arrived a bit later than I anticipated, this is Domisan, the Chief's grandson rolling the barrel over the dried up creek. We lived near sugar cane fields in those days and have lots of fond memories of the country, its so colourful and bright.

This boy Domisan bravely rolled a barrel over a stony creek and fetched water from the river back to his tribe. There had been a drought in Zululand and all the creeks had dried up so the only water to drink was taken from the river back to the Kraal. Painted for illustration purposes.
