Sunset blend

Despite the brushes I like it though

I’ve just had a disaster Andy, but I’ve learned something from it, a good colour scheme that I can use again. It’s disappointing when it doesn’t turn out as we would want but like myself, you probably also picked something out from your experience. Is it oils or acrylics? If oils and it’s still wet, you could use a cloth to take it back a little. If acrylics, you have the benefit of being able to paint on top of it! You could still use a soft cloth ...without fluff....to blend your colours. I love the idea of the painting and also how you have put the trees and birds in silhouette, very striking.

Thanks Fiona. I will try soft cloth. Everyone who has seen this they say it’s a fire in a forest. Good description but it is a sunset
