Thanks, Heather, Lewis and Karen. FYI, the foliage can all be seen in the sub tropical garden of RHS Harlow Carr! Jungle in Harrogate - who knew ?

Imagined scene inspired by Henri Rousseau. Based on my own reference photographs of RHS Harlow Carr and a monument found in a local graveyard. I've wanted to paint the angel ever since I first saw it, but wanted to give it a warmer setting. Acrylic 60cm x 60cm
