My painting captures the emotional essence of Montmartre. The vibrant blues evoke hope, while warm building tones create nostalgia for Paris's timeless charm. I sought to express the spiritual dialogue between Sacré-Cœur's sacred grandeur and the everyday cafe life below. The dynamic brushwork mirrors the neighbourhood's artistic energy. A solitary figure invites viewers to pause and experience this emotional landscape – where melancholy meets joy, and history whispers through coloured light.
