Praa Sands / graphite stick 6B

Just found this one, linked as it is to your nave drawing - I should pay more attention to your blog: like this; I think the reason I've had trouble with painting the sea in recent months is that I've been labouring it too much - broke a painting board over my knee the other day, in disgust (ow! the pain!). You have movement in this one.

It was a very quick sketch. Useful to do that, I think - although I think the speed was dictated by the presence of junior family members and the fact that it was COLD.
