Staggered (abstract)

Alita you have a wonderful collection of paintings in your gallery, all so different and interesting. Love your colour matching and the way you use ‘other’ items to build your designs.

Thank you Fiona, I am glad that you like them, your comment is much appreciated. I'm curious, when you say "other items" do you mean the stencilled dots or the paper in my collaged work?

Ah, yes the paper, but I thought the dots were also some texture that you incorporated into your painting......never thought of them being stencilled....lol. Thanks for putting me right! I’ve done a couple of collagraphs and used all kinds of things in those.

This one has no paper (other than the substrate) just paint, most of the texture is an illusion, although there is a small amount of raised paint. Thank you for clarifying! Yes, I love collagraphs too, I haven't done any for ages though!
