Christmas Trees 2017

It's a wonderful painting, Alastair, and the title is just spot on. I was sad to read you were/are a victim of art theft, because no matter the standard, there's always some part of us, a part of our integrity or honesty in each piece. To sell or give is one thing, to have a painting stolen is an invasion of the individual. I sincerely hope you recover this painting, and you never know your luck in a storm. Brian

Excellent painting. I feel as if I could walk straight down that street. I was so sorry to hear about the theft and hope that indeed somebody does see it somewhere.

Thank you so much for all your comments. It was such a kick in the teeth for the owner who had not long started her small shop and gallery. She reimbursed me when strictly speaking she didn’t have to as we had no contract.
