Thank you so much for the kind words. Tessa - yes this is the Market Place in Lechlade. I’m doing a whole series of paintings trying to show something a little different to the more romantic images of the Cotswolds

Small panel 30 x 12 painted contre jour. I love this scene and I’m delighted it sold yesterday. This small panel format has proved really popular as there are lots of small cottages in these parts. Needless to say the very same pothole is back along with three new ones!
