Painted after I recently visited Ullswater on a holiday during the rare period of glorious weather. What better way to remember the trip than a few paintings. This is an oilpainting on canvas board and measures 20 by 16 inches

I'm an artist living in Co Durham, I prefer painting in oil, mainly for the vibrant colours and how the oil can be manipulated. I love doing landscapes but have done numerous portraits.
