Thanks for the wonderful comments everyone. I didn't really expect them. I was going to scrap it because it wasn't what I had wanted to achieve. My wife asked for it framed and Patsy ordered me to post it, so there you have it. We are not always the best judges are we?...and Patsy you couldn't pick him up and cuddle him - unless he wanted you to. I took a photo in one of the rare moments that he was still and looking for more mischief. He is normally just a blur in your peripheral vision.

Thanks Carole. There's a little bit of olive green by the left elbow and in the darker tone on the foreground. It adds a wee drop of interest to what could be a flat area (not my idea - a tip from a pro). Thanks Ruthy. It ws from a photo. There's no way I could paint him from life!
