Thanks for your comments Nora & Chris. Yes it is in pastels. It is my fourth attempt. If I'd known it was going to turn out OK I would have spent more care on the construction! I am copying his oil paintings (in acrylics) as well. I like his style - loose but definative. When I've got the hang of it I will be doing my own subjects.

I have been through your paintings. You are amazing good in figure painting but this particular painting of glass is really lovely. It's good to hear that you have 'some Maltese roots' in your family!!! I will inform you when the painting arrives. Regards Lorraine.
