Very poignant and so typical of a dog that it just wants to help. Really lovely sentiment in this painting, although it is not nice to see someone so sad. Very beautifully painted.

Ah, they just don't live long enough - without going into details, at a low moment my life was saved by a dog. (So they have a lot to answer for!) Affecting painting.
