Lovely piece of work Alan! really good perspective and I like the colours you have used.

I like the foreground shadows pushing the street back. Would it be worth having less form on the castle to push it back to even further? When I say this I am thinking of John Hoar. First time I have seen your portfolio and some nice works.

Thanks for your comments , much appreciated Alan I tend to paint much more detailed than John Hoar although I do admire his work . I feel that the castle needs a small amount of detail to compensate for the detail in the foreground Happy painting Alan
