Rainy day in Grange by Alan Goodall

Love this one Alan! Live just across the bay from this near Morecambe so when it's raining in one, its raining in the other so I know this scene so well unfortunately!

I really like this! I like the lost and found edges, the subtlety of the mountains and the perfect colour palette. Great work.

I agree with Thea. There's a magical, almost surreal, quality to this that skilfully avoids the traditional chocolate box atmosphere. You've also captured the rainy landscape beautifully.

This painting makes you almost love rain, a super landscape.
