I like it, Alan. It has that alert look you hope to find in dog portraits. You say you're not sure about it, but you should be pleased with it.

He looks lovely Alan, it's difficult sometimes to get the correct dimensions with animals. You could try using the grid method so you can then get the eyes, nose etc in the right place, it does help sometimes and worth a try.

Thanks for the kind words Lewis and Margaret, I was un sure because when I stepped away for a coffee, and came back to it I realised I missed some dark from the mouth area. So not quite my Jack but very close.
