I wondered if they were Inktense, such lovely vibrant colors. I haven't tried the pans, only the pencils...might have to get some. I like this, Alan. Great use of color.

Lewis, they are easy to use, but compared to the blocks and the pencils the colours are limited, so for this picture I used a combination of pencil and pans.

Great colours and well painted, a lovely composition.

Beautifully bright and vibrant tulips Alan, I like the pen/pencil outline.

Beautifully done Alan. I’ve tried The inktense blocks and liked them but the pans sound like a good idea.

Beautiful Alan - reminds me of stained glass :)

Beautiful Alan - I've got some inktense pencils, they are much more vibrant than watercolours . I particularly like your purple one, haven't got that one.

Thank you everyone for your comments, it inspires me to carry on trying. Marjorie the purple is an Inktense Pencil, as the pans are limited in colour. All the other colours are from the pans with various amount of water added, or blended together.

Lovely style, Alan, with the ink outline - I love the vibrancy of Inktense, and have a set of their pencils.

Really like this

Beautifully vibrant Alan!

Really effective painting; I love the colours and the use of outlining.
