I admire your patience with all the fine detail you’ve captured Alan and I like the unusual pose.

Thank you Carole and Fiona. I find myself I increasingly attracted to these sort of pictures. As for the pose, it was this which attracted me to pick the magazine up and think I can do that.

It’s a challenging pose Alan....to get the roundness of the birds cheek and at the right angle, same with the rise of the head from the beak. The hardest part for me would be to get the ellipse of the eye.
