Commissioned painting of former member of the Regiment with his beloved Pen Y Fan. I was asked to paint Mick b y his best buddy as a gift for his parents. The main image of Mick was taken from a black and white photo. The 'younger' Mick with SAS beret was taken from the funeral service of order which I placed in front of Pen Y Fan. This is an acrylic on canvas board and presented me with plenty of challenges.
