This is a lovely sketch so very well done. A lovely pose. Talent.

Thanks, we met over the internet , she visited me at my studio in Chelsea. She wanted to be encouraged to keep her talent moving so when we finished the discussion she asked me to sketch her and she was pleased, She left with the sketch.

in 20 minutes you have done a brilliant study and captured the lights and shades great...chris

Thanks once again Chris! This comes from sketching people on the tube/train everyday, you might want to see my blog on my passion for sketching : www.adebanjialade.blogspot.com

Fantastic! This, for me, is the best portait in your portfolio! Beautifully rendered, every mark has a purpose in describing form, light. Not overworked in the slightest, but capturing (I imagine) the sitter perfectly with the minimum of fuss! Less really is more sometimes! No wonder she kept the picture!
