Sorry Adebanji but I prefer the sketch. Also the horse on the left is looking out of the picture which takes the viewers eye out away from the focal point. Point to bear in mind when creating a finished picture. I would have moved it to the right of the picture so that it is looking inwards which would have resulted in a much better composition. Having said that it's a nice picture and as they say it is easy to be a critic.

Thanks for this deft OBSERVATION, this is one of the great bebefits of using this site. I was actually planning to produce the finished picture in oil soon, as this is the colour study in preparation for that. Your comments are highly appreciated!
