Great sketch but sorry, not keen on football, rugby's the game for me ! Last time I went to watch my husband play I took my sketch book with me but unfortunately non of the players stayed still long enough for me to get anything decent !!! I thought I might stand a chance as it was an "Old Crocks " game, the oldest being 62, so I didn't think they would get around the park very fast but they were still too fast for my pencil !

Great sketching. Like Val, football is a total mystery to me so I'll have to take your word for whatever sort of kick this was! Very good way, though, to record an exciting event.

Not a football fan although I used to be in the 60s but even I can see that that second position absolutely defies gravity. If he scored from that, he's brilliant. Love teh scissors at the end.

Agree great sketch and I certainly can see that kick...but like the above girls football is also a mystery to me can't understand the off side rule for the life of me...now cricket that's different and rugby does not mystify me quite as much

Was this from memory minutes after? Our team were lucky? Excellent sketch as usual.

Thanks ALL! Some very interesting comments. Jeannette, this was done by pausing the video and sketching at each step.
