Excellent work - it's really difficult, or I find it so, to work on this scale without crowding the canvas or focusing too much on one large object.

Thanks Robert, I know what you mean, I have done more and have fallen into that trap as you'll notice in some coming up later.

A great little painting.

YOu don't seem to have posted on here in a while so I chose this to add my congratulations after reading your blog where you say: The Chelsea Art Society , Centenary Exhibition came to end over the weekend and I would just like to highlight that My piece, "Evening Light, Charing Cross Road" Won the Agnes Reeve Memorial Award for a Painting of London. I couldn't attend the Awards Ceremony at the Private View on the 15th of June as I was "locked up" in Exmoor with the BBC filming my adventure with sketching and painting Wild Ponies! I'm just thrilled for you that you seem to be finally getting the recognition you deserve. I do want to know about the BBC. Sounds intriguing.

Thanks Carole, and thanks Diana--I have been so so busy I haven't been able to post here for a while but thanks for giving me a push! The BBC thing is for CBBC- the children's section and its focusing on British Wildlife. I was chosen to take on the Wild ponies on Exmoor. The series is going to be great as it would show the different working methods of different artists taking on wildlife. It is going to be called, "WILD ABOUT ART"-Not sure when it will be on but hopefully I'll keep you posted. But my mind tells me the last quarter of the year. The experience was explosive and an unbelievable!
