Findochty Harbour

Really nice feel to this painting. Understated even although it has a lot of detail. You have cleverly avoided it lookig fussy. Nice colour palette as well.

Well done, also full album. It would be interesting if you tried one with dipping roofs on some of the roof ridges and some scruffier boats and hulls, paint missing etc.

Thanks for the comments, I'll certainly look for some scruffy boats, good excuse for a trawl round the coast.

Another lovely seaside painting. Wonderful detail in the boat. Although the amount of detail in the background pulls my eye away from the boat.
