Beautiful! A thought provoking landscape.

I'm not a big fan of winter scenes but this one has a special quality that I like. Thanks again for the comments about my abstract. My exhibition is still on for a week, it is my first and I have 31 paintings on show. It is most of the paintings in my galleries on this site.I'm lucky to have it as I've only been painting for a year and five paintings have been sold. It finishes next Sunday. Painting is now my passion and I want to keep on doing different things and constantly keep challenging myself. I'm self taught, so have not been influenced by any art teacher, I just keep learning and do my own thing. It is great when you realise that someone actually wants ones work. I paint for me though and not a market. My Wimbledon triptych is for my partners daughter in London and I was quite happy to do that as again it was something different. You have a lovely gallery and I can see from your work that you get a great deal of enjoyment from it. Keep painting, keep happy!

lovely texture and softness you can almost feel the cold rrrrrrr will have to go get my jacket on and scarf!!
