An Impression of Conwy Castle by SUSAN Tomlinson

Wonderfully colourful painting! Particularly like the touch of alizarin/carmine? on the centre turret which really lifts the painting. I love the way you can use colour to give an impression of the character of a building. You have made Conwy Castle look like a fairy tale castle. Great work!

Thanks Thea, glad you found the painting as you inspired it! The red is actually ink, I had a new red pen and tried, while the paint was wet to draw, but the ink ran, and I couldn't remove it, so left it in!
