I feel for you Chris! Painting at two in the morning is not my idea of fun but I admire you for doing it and would be really pleased with this result. It has a familiar Cotswold look and feel to it. Is it anywhere real or from your over heated imagination!?

Thankyou one and all forbyour very kind comments and support. Now is when my eyelids are closing! Yes Tessa I took a visit at Hidcote National Trust. Using a reference photo and using some artistic licence to embellish the painting.

One I have just completed. A Labour Of Love because I'm painting when I should be asleep. But at two in the morning with a fan going the temperature is just bearable. Not a great painting and one I am guilty of dithering with. But it's an achievement.
