I like the way you've painted the sea: a simple wodge of blue wouldn't have worked, but you've introduced a real sense of shape and movement. You'd enjoy the work of Andrew Barrowman, who paints in that part of the world: not from photos usually, he goes out on the cliffs, with the wind buffeting his easel (and very welcome to that he is!). I couldn't physically do that any more, but I found his videos on YouTube inspiring; if scenes like this interest you, as I see they do, you might like to look him up.

Thankyou Robert I appreciate your observations and comments very much. Sea scapes are very much a learning curve for me. I will indeed take a look on u tube. I need all the help I can get. So thanks again.
