Painted from a photo I took while in the outter hebrides, or as they are known often as the Wester Isles. The weather in June was disappointing to say the least!.

I have always wanted to sketch or paint, I didn't do art at school or college. Each day I enjoy flipping through the Painters on Line Gallery and wonder at the skills of the artists here - (most seem to have gone to art college). I know I will never compete with them, but enjoy the challenge!
