Hi,      I'm working on illustrations for a childrens' story for an amateur magazine on Facebook.  The story itself is about a little girl having an encounter with a wizard on a flight to India.  These are all digital paintings, created via ProCreate on my iPad with an Apple Pencil.  This is also literally my first time *ever* working in colour (I've only previously ever worked in pencil & charcoal).  There are still two more to do, but I think it's coming along ok so far.  I feel like I've learned a lot on this project.
I've only illustrated one book - go on, tempt me with more commissions! - and used dip pen and ink.  That was a children's book too, but perhaps for slightly older children - your illustrations are looking good; can't beat a bit of colour to interest children.
Wow Simon Whiz kid you.  It looks amazing ….I am also illustrating a book my dog Sam is the author .  It’s beginning to happen and big thanks to the forum members who have helped in practical terms….Alan…he corrected Sams  grammar and punctuation and all the suggestions re  publishing,  I think I’ve found the right people. Soooooo watch this space Sami’s so excited he got dressed up in his favourite outfit.
Beautiful illustrations, Simon. Glad to hear that ‘Sam’s’ book is coming along, Sylvia.
Well done Simon and Sylvia, so so pleased you're going to publish,  loved seeing Sam and commented before and the latest is wonderful too.  His masquerade as the girl with the pearl earring is a very good look!
Lovely news Simon and Sylvia, I'm really excited for both of you, what a journey. Your illustrations look great Simon and Sylvia, I think Sam has a good likeness to the girl with the pearl earring. Marvellous.
Exciting stuff, both of you! Well done. Look forward to seeing them.
