Hang on Studio Wall
Message
oils seem to take ages to dry ,but allow some reworking. So have decided to work on a few at the same time. a mix of acrylic and oil. this one on watercolour paper ,solely oil. a 36x24 oil paint over acrylic base. Not quite sure if these are being done correctly, fun finding out.
Sorry about these being all jumbled up and upside down, done as normal, but worked out weird and not sure how you correct this.
Pity - I'm not too good at hanging from the ceiling: but they look good, even the wrong way up. If I get round to finishing my oil portrait this week, I'll bung it on and see if it shows up the right way round (I might have finished it before now, but something horrible in the digestive department intervened, whether food poisoning or a gastric virus I don't know. I'll spare you the details, but they'd take your mind off your picture insertion problems if I shared them.)
Let us see if we can't reverse at least the last one.
Thanks for that Robert. Odd how they all are upside down. Andre this looks like an interesting style you have well done.
My pleasure. I didn't do anything very clever, by the way. Oil over acrylic - yes that should be OK on a rigid board; less so on a flexible canvas, but it depends on so many imponderables, thickness of the underlying paint being one of them.
