Your owl is looking very assertive, Garry, and the colours are looking good. The right eye has a lovely reflection already. A good start.

I saw one, I saw one!  Just over 2 weeks ago, and believe me we NEVER see them down here, a long-eared owl just perched on a fence in the garden and eyed us contemplatively, artfully flying off before any of us could get to a camera.  This may not be startling news wherever you are, but it was pure magic to us.

I love the owl photo too! The colors are really vibrant, and the reflection in the right eye adds such a great touch. It has a strong, assertive vibe that makes it stand out.
