This tower has fascinated me for the last 30 years. I finally decide to have a bash at painting it. Water colour paint, fabriano artistico paper. The challenge is that the image is as much about the trees behind it as it is the tower itself...probably more about the trees in fact, so I might have to try a few ideas before I get the right one that shows the tower as I see it.

It's a good subject. When I first saw your title and thought about the tower I thought it might be the one my company built back in the 70s, but no that's at Ludgershall, near Andover. The trees will make a strong contrast to the colours you've used for the structure, my only things would have been to put them in first and leaving the shapes of the structure in white then colour later.If you're trying things, try that too.
