I've tweaked the original a few times and have finally ended up with this version. Apart from cropping the image the painting is true to the original colours etc. The light was brighter for the second photo and I added a thin veneer of light blue

The revised version is at the top. It's worth mentioning that in reality the tones don't vary as much as would seem. Any thoughts would be gratefully received.

This is the same painting, again, but with similar light conditions to the original. As you can see it is considerably duller. I thought the changes to the waves heightened the dramatic effect by including more movement and chaos. It's a little out of focus.
