ISam has a huge amount of soft toys, squeakers, balls, pulleys.  Worse than a small child. So am working out a pic to include a few of them and hopefully him.  This is just a bit of an idea to start.  Hopefully will go BIG in acrylic.
Great subject matter. It'll be great. I think toys are emotive, paintings of toys always make me smile and feel a little sad too. I've always fancied doing a still life of old tin toys, spinning top, that type of thing. I did have a look on ebay for some bits but the price of genuinely old stuff put me off.
Charity shops are where Sam dog gets most of his stuff..or home bargains.  It's almost his gotcha day so I'm sure more will appear.  Yes old tin toys will be a pretty penny. these days. I remember them well..don't think you are old enough Collette.
Don't go by my avatar I'm happily retired!

Well Crib Goch gone ...scrubbed ,sanded, gessoed....May the show begin.
Re use, recycle! It’s a great subject and look forward to seeing the result Sylvia.  My hubby just gave me the last small piece of a supply of sandpaper we brought with us from Cardiff 13 years ago, to sand an unsuccessful painting. He thinks I am honoured to have it!  🤣
You didn't paint over that Crib Goch painting, did you?  The one you posted the other day?  Well, you can always do it again of course, but I think that's a shame.  It were fine, fach, fine!
I did Robert..oh I did.
A start.
