New drawing on the board keeping to my local theme I have done watercolour paintings of the subject in the past but this is my first 20x30cm pen and ink drawing.  The main changes from the photo are removing street furniture and turning the street lamp round too face into the picture.
I look forward to seeing this take shape.
Thanks Colin....a few tweeks on the detail before starting on the pen
Made a start on the ink
Works for me. 👍
Moving  on getting a few bricks in.

Why? ….it’s a local sandstone .
Perhaps the word 'brick' is meant in a general sense for 'building blocks' - I don't know the church at all, but a look online shows distinctive, mason-cut stones. Anyway, it would be mental cruelty to deprive Bari of his bricks.
Don't panic Sylvia it's just the chimneys and the little house near the gate....
Oh good.  It’s Cheshire red sandstone ,  dressed stone . I am So happy you are doing it correctly.  Looking at your reference pic Bari the little house you reference could also be stone but I’m looking on a very small screen.  You are completly off the hook with the closest right hand cottage as it’s white washed .  Detail, detail the devil is in the detail…will stop panicking right now.   Actually if you are the least bit interested a lot of that red sandstone is also very local to here in my part of Wales.  that  Offa guy obviously pinched some..
Finished before bedtime ...might  need a few tweeks before it leaves the board..
