Making changes

I love painting in acrylics because it's so easy to alter something you don't like.  I thought this might amuse people: on the left is the original based on a Holbein portrait. I later found out courtesy of the Forum that it was of St Catherine being lead to her execution and had I known that I would never have painted it. On the right is the new version which I've just done, St Catherine having being told she is not going to be executed and by the way it's someone else's turn to buy the drinks!  I'm putting it on here because it's not really suitable for the gallery and I may well come back to it tomorrow.
