Sketch for a 20x30cm pen and ink drawing..48 years ago I had a special pass to wander around the then derelict docks to Sketch and photograph the area..I will put two of my old prints on the gallery,  this new drawing will go on when finished...

Making a start on the ink, keeping the background detail to a minimum and putting some detail into the clock tower, main detail will be in the foreground..

Moving on from back to foreground not quite sure how to handle the the blank area around the capstan , possibly using the dot pen...

Bari - it's really useful to see the stages you have the patience to photograph as you bring these drawings to completion.

Thanks Colin and Robert I very often miss the stages get carried away in the zone. I had an eye test and got new glasses just before Christmas so really enjoying the detail work with the new very fine Copic pens..
